This rose comes from an excellent cooperative based to the north of Beziers in the Languedoc-Roussillon and is a shining example of the great value-for-money wines being made in the region at present. ‘Terre du Sud’ means ‘soil of the south’ and is classified under the Vin de Pays de Mediterranee – a sprawling wine region designated in 1999 that stretches from the Ardeche to Corsica. A blend of Grenache Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon it’s fruity and ripe. An approachable summer glugger, perfect for barbecue dishes.
At first “scent” Ben said I’m having this! This perky pink gives you an insatiable appetite & leaves you wanting more….
This wine is phenomenal & takes rose to another level. 50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 10% Syrah
This is absolutely excellent & we’re rather reluctant to let anyone else know about it! Fruits of the forest pinkiness, with a classic touch of Provence, round & smooth..excellent! Really fun & impressive in Magnums for the summer.
